About Your Speakers

Jeremy Clark, PCAM®, AMS, has 12 years of experience in the community association management industry. Before entering this industry, Clark earned degrees in accounting and finance from Southern Methodist University and worked as an investment banker for Bank of America. In his current role as the chief operating officer for Excel Association Management Inc., Clark oversees accounting and technology. Clark also sits on the Advisory Council for Mutual of Omaha Bank, which provides feedback to bank executives regarding banking issues and services for the community association industry.


Stephen Marcus is a partner at Marcus, Errico, Emmer, Brooks in Braintree, Mass. He represents community associations, developers, and lenders in a wide-ranging practice that includes reviewing, drafting, and amending condominium documents; negotiating the terms of condominium association loans; and advising boards on rules enforcement, association insurance, and other condominium governance issues. Marcus is a popular lecturer for CAI and CAI-New England and a frequent contributor to various industry publications.
