Make Your Job Easier:
Say Yes to an HOA Board Code of Conduct

An Exclusive HOAleader.com Webinar
With Practical Tips for Condo and HOA Boards

Thursday, November 16, 2017—NEXT WEEK!
2-3 p.m. Eastern

Even the most conscientious board members can become stumped on how to proceed in difficult situations and uncharted territory. And let's face it: Some board members might be embarrassed to ask for advice for fear they'll look uninformed or even because they're afraid others might get the wrong impression about their intentions.

You can help your HOA board avoid that type of situation by providing guiding principles for board members' conduct.

But what should go in your board code of conduct? Join us for an in-depth webinar on November 16 led by two community association lawyers who advise boards every day on the proper and wisest conduct for all parties who operate within an HOA.

You'll learn:
  • Why it's important to adopt a code of conduct for your board
  • The role a code of conduct can play in HOAs and condos, including whether it's advisory or binding on the parties it addresses
  • What provisions to include in, and what's wise to leave out of, your board code of conduct
  • How to educate board members on their duties under the board code of conduct
  • What should happen when there's a disagreement over whether conduct complies with or violates a code of conduct
  • Whether boards can punish fellow board members for violations of the association's code of conduct, including what type of "punishment" is acceptable and what might be too punitive
  • And much more!

In just one hour, you'll hear helpful information that will allow you to create your own code of conduct and introduce it to your board. Register now for this informative event for community association board members.

How Do Webinars Work?

A webinar is remarkably cost-effective and convenient. You participate from your home or office, using a regular telephone and a computer with an Internet connection. You have no travel costs, hassle, or commute time.

Plus, for one low price, you can get as many people on your condo or HOA board to participate as you can fit around a speakerphone and a computer screen.

And now, with our special group membership offer, your entire board can attend—even from different locations. This offer requires an HOAleader.com Group Membership. When any group member orders, we will set up access for the entire group. Up to 10 users can attend for one low price. It's another incredible deal as part of HOAleader.com Group Membership.

Because the conference is live, you can ask the speakers questions via the webinar interface. Many attendees tell us this is the most valuable part of the webinar.

You will receive access instructions via e-mail several days before the event. You don't need any additional materials before the webinar starts. Your conference materials will be available for you to view, print, and download when you log in to participate in the event.
